Qeynos (Humans, Half-Elves, Barbarians, Erudites)

Qeynos is a city of light and order, offering a more structured starting experience. It's divided into North and South Qeynos.

North Qeynos (Human, Half-Elf Start)

You'll likely begin near the main gates of North Qeynos, a bustling area.

1. Initial Quests:
   • Guard Captain Thricius: Speak to Captain Thricius near the main gates. He often has simple patrol duties or requests to clear out pests.
   • Gnoll Pups: Head just outside the city gates into the Qeynos Hills. Killing Gnoll Pups and collecting their Gnoll Paws is a classic early quest and a good source of XP for levels 1-3.
2. Training and Supplies:
   • Class Trainers: Most human and half-elf guild halls are located in North Qeynos. Find yours to train.
   • Merchants: "The Fish's Ale" and "The Crow's Tavern" are good places to sell loot and buy basic gear.
3. Early Hunting Grounds:
   • Qeynos Hills: Immediately outside the city gates. Here you'll find Gnoll Pups, Giant Rats, Large Snakes, and Young Plains Cats. Ideal for levels 1-5.
   • Blackburrow (Entrance in Qeynos Hills): A dungeon entrance in Qeynos Hills leads to Blackburrow, a dangerous Gnoll stronghold. Only venture here with a group and at higher levels (5+).

South Qeynos (Barbarian, Erudite Start)

South Qeynos is home to the docks and some specialized guild halls.

1. Initial Quests:
   • Fisherman's Friend: Speak to the fishermen along the docks. They often need help with local aquatic pests or delivering messages.
   • Sewer Rats: The sewers beneath South Qeynos are teeming with Giant Rats and Large Snakes. Look for NPCs near the sewer entrances who offer bounties for these creatures.
2. Training and Supplies:
   • Class Trainers: Barbarian and Erudite guild halls are present in South Qeynos.
   • Merchants: The shops around the docks and the "Surefall Glade" entrance offer several goods.
3. Early Hunting Grounds:
   • Qeynos Aqueducts (Sewers): Accessible from various points in South Qeynos. Contains Giant Rats, Large Snakes, and some Goblins. Good for levels 1-3.
   • Qeynos Hills (via North Qeynos): Head through North Qeynos to the Qeynos Hills for more open-world hunting.
