Part 56

Part 56 walkthrough for Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, covering Yi Ling II, Nanman Campaign II, Jie Ting II, and You Ting II.

Snack and Wine Locations:

• Wine: In a pot around the middle of the map, on the right of the two pathways that separate the two middle areas.

Battle at Yi Ling II – Yellow Turbans vs Shu Forces OR Dong Zhuo’s Forces vs Shu Forces OR Nanman Forces vs Wu Forces

Yellow Turban Side

1. Go straight down to take on Liu Bei.
2. Get a horse and take out as many generals as possible.
3. Make your way across to the bottom left to defeat Zhuge Liang.
4. Proceed to take on Liu Bei and any remaining enemies.

Dong Zhuo’s Forces

1. A fire attack is initiated by your camp, but its effect and how to save it are unknown.
2. Many soldiers and generals will be defeated.
3. Lu Bu will chastise his men, leading to two generals retreating in a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) (an event that interrupts gameplay).
4. Try to get a horse early and defeat enemy generals to maintain soldier morale.
5. After defeating most enemies, head to the gate on the lower left.
6. Beat the generals there to open the way to the fort.
7. Confront Zhuge Liang and Liu Bei in the fort.

Nanman Side

1. Vanquish Sun Quan and his advisor, Zhuge Liang.
2. Defeat two generals near Meng Huo’s vicinity.
3. Grab a horse and eliminate enemy units appearing in the upper left corner.
4. Defeat Lu Xun in the upper right corner.
5. Lu Xun will initiate a fire attack after suspicious movements or after a certain time passes.
6. Zhuge Liang and his troops will appear.
7. A cutscene will occur with one of your characters meeting Zhuge Liang in the Stone Warrior maze.
8. Defeat Zhuge Liang again.
9. Finish off Sun Quan, encountering Gan Ning and other generals along the way.

Nanman Campaign II – Nanman Forces vs Shu Forces OR Yellow Turbans vs Nanman Forces

Nanman Side

1. Defeat Liu Bei and Sun Shang Xiang.
2. Consider defeating Ma Chao, who is camped near Meng Huo’s base, first.
3. Mop up remaining generals as you advance towards Sun Shang Xiang and Liu Bei at the top.
4. If playing as Meng Huo, defeat Zhuge Liang instead of Sun Shang Xiang (though Sun Shang Xiang is still near Liu Bei and can be defeated for a power-up).

Yellow Turban Side

1. Be aware of a surprise attack from Zhuge Liang early in the stage.
2. Defeating Zhuge Liang will cause a Marching Drum (a precious item) to appear.
3. Defeat the usual assortment of Nanman forces, watching out for elephants ridden by larger generals.

Battle at Jie Ting II – Yuan Shao’s Forces vs Wei Forces

Yuan Shao’s Side

1. Make your way to Zhang He on the left side of the map, fighting intervening generals.
2. Zhang Liao will appear in an ambush when you approach Zhang He.
3. Defeat Zhang Liao and the general to the south to clear Zhang He.
4. Burn Wei’s supply depot to lower their morale.
5. Proceed south to take out Sima Yi, being cautious of his archers and 3 gate captains.

Battle at You Ting II – Nanman Forces vs Wu Forces

Nanman Side

1. Defeat Sun Ce and Da Qiao.
2. Da Qiao is located a short trip south from Zhu Rong’s starting position.
3. Ambush groups led by Sun Shang Xiang and Gan Ning will appear in the east and west forts.
4. If an ambush group defeats the outpost guardians, the Wu army will attack your forces, primarily Meng Huo in the center.
5. A cutscene will occur when Meng Huo and Zhu Rong meet.
6. Mop up remaining enemy forces, but be wary of the numerous generals near Sun Ce at the top.
7. Take out the gate captain nearest to Sun Ce to reduce reinforcements.

Siege of Hei Fei Castle II – Dong Zhuo’s Forces vs Wu Forces OR Nanman Forces vs Allied Forces

Dong Zhuo’s Side

1. Defeat Sun Ce while keeping Diao Chan alive.
2. If playing as Lu Bu, you start outside the castle with several enemies inside.
3. Defeat low-level enemies at the south end.
