Walkthrough
  1. 1
222 AD: Battle at Yi Ling – Shu vs Wu
    • Shu Side: This is a difficult stage. Lu Xun will initiate a fire attack early on. You must quickly find and defeat Zhu Ran in the valley northeast of Liu Bei's starting point to prevent this. If the fire attack succeeds, the stage becomes significantly harder. Be aware of potential raids on Liu Bei's camp. After stopping the fire attack, focus on defeating Sun Quan's other generals, including Lu Xun, who is stronger than usual. Lu Meng and Gan Ning may also have enhanced abilities. Eliminating other generals will bolster your troops for the final battle against the leader. Watch out for numerous archers in the boss's camp.
  2. 2
Wu Side: This stage is less challenging for Wu. Start by defeating the closest general. Acquire a fast horse (preferably white). Then, eliminate all enemy generals on the map. Head southwest to confront Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang. Be cautious of archers in watchtowers. It's recommended to defeat all Gate Captains in the boss's area before engaging Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang, though they might pursue you. Once all other enemies are cleared, your allied troops will assist in the final battle against Liu Bei. The fire attack still occurs; if possible, help Zhu Ran reach the valley's end to launch it, weakening enemy morale and bringing Lu Xun into the fight sooner.
  3. 3
Snack: Far left from Cao Cao's position.
  4. 4
Wine: Path to the right of the high tower with archers.
  5. 5
225 AD: Nanman Campaign – Shu vs Nanman
    • Shu or Wu Side: This can be a long stage if you fight Meng Huo multiple times. Alternatively, move to the bottom left area of the map to face him only once in his fort. Fighting him multiple times yields power-ups. Engage other enemy generals to aid your allies for the final battle. Beware of enemies with wooden hats (immune to arrows) and elephant troops. To defeat elephant troops: use arrows, another elephant (T attack recommended), a character with high jump, a horse, or Musou attacks. Some barriers require elephants to break. Before the final battle with Meng Huo, you'll face his wife, Zhu Rong, who is fast and tough. After defeating her, enter the gate to face Meng Huo. Be cautious of archers in watchtowers; fighting Meng Huo under the large arch offers protection.
  6. 6
Snack: Lower center of the map, in a pot to the right of the stone maze.
  7. 7
Wine: Lower center of the map, in a pot to the bottom left of the stone maze.
Tips
  • In the Battle of Yi Ling, stopping the fire attack as Shu is crucial for survival.
  • On the Wu side of Yi Ling, eliminating all generals before confronting Liu Bei is highly beneficial.
  • In the Nanman Campaign, the one-time fight against Meng Huo in his fort is faster but misses out on power-ups from multiple encounters.
  • Dealing with elephant troops requires specific tactics; consider using a horse or Musou attacks for easier dismounts.
  • Fighting Meng Huo under the large arch in his base provides cover from archer fire.
