Learn how to find and use Dragon Balls in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot! Discover how to locate them on the map and what wishes you can make.

Alright, so you've finally made it to the end of the Frieza Saga in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. That means you've unlocked the Dragon Balls! These are super important for getting all sorts of goodies, but you can't just wish for anything. Each Dragon Ball is tied to a specific region, and you'll see a little orb icon on your world map to show you which region has one. When you get into that region, the icon will pop up again, pointing you to the Dragon Ball's general location. Sometimes it'll be mixed in with other icons, so keep an eye on your map to pinpoint it exactly.

Now, finding the exact spot can be a little tricky because your Ki-searching ability won't highlight them. But don't worry, there's a neat trick to get you right to it. Just open up your area map, find that Dragon Ball icon, and set a custom waypoint on it. If you do it right, the game will guide you straight to the Dragon Ball, saving you a ton of wandering around. Once you've managed to collect all seven, you can head into your menu, select the Dragon Ball option, and make your wish!

Just a heads-up, when you first unlock the Dragon Balls, you only get one wish per set. Later on, around the Kami's Successor part of the Android/Cell Saga, they get upgraded to two wishes per set. After you finish the main story, you'll get a final upgrade for three wishes per set. You'll start seeing wishes pop up that let you revive old villains for a rematch, which is pretty cool. Otherwise, you'll always have the classic wishes available: asking for money, Z Orbs, or rare items. The amount of money and Z Orbs you get, and the rarity of the items, will depend on how far you are in the story.
