Goten's Growth

Hey there! So, you're looking to help Goten blow off some steam, huh? This substory, 'Goten's Growth,' pops up during the main story mission 'Getting Ready for Goku,' specifically when you're supposed to visit Bulma for the second time. Just head over to Goku's house, and you'll find Goten there, feeling a bit bored and wanting to play instead of study. Chi-Chi wants him to focus, so Gohan steps in to help his mom by going fishing, and Goten, naturally, wants to join.

Before you all head out, Chi-Chi asks you to catch three Blue Fish. Don't worry about getting to the fishing spot; you'll automatically be taken there. Now, about these Blue Fish: they're, well, blue! Pretty easy to spot when they jump out of the water. The tricky part is that you won't know you've actually hooked one until you reel it in. So, it might take a little patience to snag all three.

Once you've got your three Blue Fish, Goten decides he wants to have a little sparring match before you head back. Fighting Goten is super straightforward. His main (and pretty much only) special move is the 'Goten Attack,' where he just charges right at you. He can seem a bit aggressive, but honestly, at this point in the game, he's not much of a challenge. Just beat him in the fight, and you'll wrap up this substory!
