Walkthrough:
7-5 COG JOG
- Immediately to the right, the 'N' is between two gears, closer to the top one. Veer up to reach it.
- The next area has gigantic gears with teeth. After two gears, the 'G' will be in the middle of the screen. The exit barrel is not much further ahead.
- This stage, like the next two, has hidden red buttons. You need to find and activate one in each of these three levels, and complete the level, to activate the rocket to the boss.
- Head left, then jump into the lamp above to get a puzzle piece.
- In the first barrel cannon section, fire in and out of girders that move in a circle. The 'K' is on the inside of the second set of girders. Fire directly at the 'K' to get it and land safely back in the barrel cannon.
- Immediately to the right of the same barrel cannon, you'll see a banana. Once on the next platform, jump down to it, landing in a series of blast barrels that yield a puzzle piece.
- Ahead is an area with platforms moving circularly. On the second platform that tips back and forth, there's a fan mechanism. Blow on it to get a puzzle piece.
- Roll-jump off the last platform in this section as the right side is tipped up to get enough height to reach the 'O'.
- Checkpoint #1.
- Immediately to the right, there are platforms moving circularly. Hit the lamp over the platforms to get a puzzle piece.
- Jump left off the same platforms, and jump off the tiki buzz. Go into the pipe at the left of the hidden area to access a bonus area.
- In the next section, there is a barrel. Do not touch it for now.
- Ahead, above the tiki bomber, is a triple-decker platform moving circularly. To move between platforms, jump off the high side while the platform is descending. Reach the third level to find a puzzle piece at the top.
- Drop down and grab the barrel you ignored earlier. Carry it right until you reach a suspended bag. Hit the bag with the barrel to get a puzzle piece.
- After the next barrel cannon, there's a round, stationary platform with bananas above it. Ground-pound the platform to make it spin. Once it stops, drop into the barrel cannon below. Here, you'll find the first of three buttons that activates the rocket. Use the barrel cannon that appears after ground-pounding the button to return to the main stage.
- During the next set of barrel cannons, you'll see a puzzle piece above the circle of girders. Once on the rotating platforms, jump back left to grab it.
- The 'N' is above the platform directly to the right of the rotating platforms. Jump off the robot here to get enough height to reach it.
- Checkpoint #2.
- Above the second rotating climbable surface in the next area, there's a puzzle piece. Let the surface rotate all the way up to snag it.
- A little ahead, after a barrel cannon, you'll see a climbable surface rotating around the 'G'. To get it, jump off the outside of the surface from the top and land on the inside. You can exit by jumping back to the previous climbable surface below.
7-6 SWITCHEROO
- In this stage, red and blue walls stick out from the background, one color at a time. Red and blue lights also appear. Crossing a light switches the color of the protruding walls.
- In the area with the blue block on the ground, jump right and switch the color to red. Jump back left and follow the hidden path to a barrel cannon for a bonus area.
- Continue right. You'll reach an area with electricity on the ground and a tire on a red platform in the air. Walk through the light at the bottom to drop the tire, then jump through the light at the top to land on the red platform.
- Just ahead, to the right, is a long blue platform with the 'K' on it. About halfway along, there's a vine and a column of lights with a gap. Use the gap to make the blue platform stick out when you're on the left side of the lights. Then, drop down to get the 'K'.
- In the next area, there's a red platform on the ground. Walk past it and hit the light past the electroids, near the right wall, to switch the color. Go back, drop past the red platform, and ground-pound the weak floor under it. You'll land in a barrel cannon leading to the second red button.
- Head up the colored platforms to the right. You'll eventually see the 'O'. Jump to get it, then land back on the platform if possible.
- At the top of this area, before the checkpoint, roll-jump under the column of lights to the solid platform on the right. Then, jump through the lights to the red platform on the left and continue upward along the blue platforms. Reach the top for a puzzle piece.
