Get Adam Jensen back in fighting shape! This guide walks you through M2: Morning Comes Too Soon in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, from waking up with offline augs to looting your apartment.

Alright, so Adam’s day job is already a nightmare, but it turns out his downtime is even worse. After a cutscene showing a secret meeting and a terrorist attack, you'll wake up feeling pretty rough. Most of your augmentations are offline or limited, meaning you'll take fall damage and can't use your usual cybernetic abilities like punching through walls. It's that classic game trope: you start with all the cool stuff, then have to earn it back. You're super vulnerable right now.

First things first, open your in-game menu by pressing the [TOUCH PAD] on PlayStation or [VIEW] on Xbox. Head over to your Augmentations screen. Yeah, it's pretty bad. You'll need to get a tune-up before you can really get back to work.

Before you do anything else, make sure to loot your bedroom. You'll find a Hydraulic Micropump on the desk, a box of Crafting Parts on the shelf above it. On an adjacent shelf, grab a Stem Processor Chip, more Crafting Parts, and some Overclock Software. Check the dresser for some Pistol EMP Ammo. Then, search the floor north of your bed – there's a hidden floor stash! Inside, you'll find the eBook “How Not to Get Yourself Killed,” “Triangle Code #12,” the “J.C. Welcome Package” item, and a Pocket Secretary. The last two items are clues for a scavenger hunt you can tackle later.

Now, let's get out of this room. Exit your room and head down the hallway. Grab a Credit Chip from some shelves to the south before turning north into your bathroom. Search another shelf for some Painkillers, and then check the drawers under the sink for a Hypostim Injector.

Leave the bathroom and head west. Your housemate will interrupt you with a message from David Sarif – looks like things are getting complicated. Loot a table to the north for the eBook “Juggernaut Collective” and another Credit Chip. Then, turn south to find a counter with the eBook “In Terror Firma” on it. Finally, check the nearby laptop to read some old emails and access the Smart Home menu.
