Learn how to unlock all combat-related achievements in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, including Ruthless Efficiency, Humanity, and The Jack of All Augments.

This section covers several achievements related to combat and augmentation in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

Ruthless Efficiency (20 points): Fully upgrade a weapon of your choice. You can customize weapons by holding [TRIANGLE]/[Y] in your inventory. The Stun Gun is the easiest to fully upgrade. Purchase a Laser-Targeting System from Tars in the Zelen Apartments, install it, and use crafting parts to upgrade the ammo clip to max. You can save before and reload after obtaining the achievement if you don't want to keep the upgraded weapon.

Humanity (20 points): Fully upgrade a branch of your Augmentation Tree, such as “Icarus Landing” or “Social Enhancer”.

And Embrace What You've Become (10 points): Install at least one experimental augmentation, such as Icarus Dash, as soon as you have the opportunity.

The Jack of All Augments (30 points): Invest in at least one augmentation in every branch of the Aug Tree. This requires a total of 34 Praxis points. If you haven't collected enough, starting a new game+ will retain unlocked augs, making it easier. Praxis points can also be earned in Breach mode.

The Invincible Body, Fighting an Iron Devil (10 points): Block an incoming enemy explosive with the Titan Shield. To achieve this, pick the “Titan Shield” augment and its upgrades. Go to Otar’s Casino, save your game, attract guards, position yourself against a wall to face them directly, and activate the Titan Shield when a grenade is thrown.

Slow & Sharp (10 points): Land an Explosive Nanoblade Shot on three enemies at once while the Focus Augmentation is active. You will need the “Nanoblade” and “Focus Augmentation” augments with all upgrades. Head to Otar’s Casino, find cover near Otar and three guards, hold the Nanoblade button, aim at Otar (with other enemies nearby), and activate the Focus augmentation.

This is Great for Spring Cleaning (10 points): Use both Knockback and Precision functions of the P.E.P.S. Arm Cannon at least once. You need the “P.E.P.S” Augment with all its upgrades. Go to Otar’s Casino, make a manual save, fire a charged shot (Precision) by holding the button, then quickly press the button again for a shot (Knockback) at another enemy.
