Glyphid Eggs are a hazardous environmental element found in Deep Rock Galactic. They are a key component in certain mission types and pose a significant threat if not handled carefully.

Locations: Glyphid Eggs are typically found in clusters within caves, often in areas with high enemy activity. They can appear in various biomes across Hoxxes IV.

Dangers: When approached or damaged, Glyphid Eggs will hatch and release swarms of smaller Glyphids, often including Swarmers. These can quickly overwhelm unprepared miners.

Strategy:

• Avoidance: The safest approach is to avoid disturbing Glyphid Eggs whenever possible, especially during critical mission objectives or when low on ammunition.
• Controlled Destruction: If eggs must be destroyed, use area-of-effect weapons or abilities to clear out the hatched Glyphids quickly. Weapons like the Driller's Flamethrower or Engineer's PGL can be effective.
• Prioritization: In missions where eggs are an objective (like Elimination missions), prioritize destroying them efficiently while managing other threats.
