The Large Deposit (Unused 410) is a relatively straightforward Machine Event, primarily focused on resource gathering under pressure. Upon activation, a large vein of Nitra will appear, often in a cavernous area with multiple entry points. The primary challenge isn't combat, but rather the time limit and the constant influx of smaller alien creatures that attempt to interrupt your mining efforts. The event typically spawns around 150-200 units of Nitra, making it a worthwhile endeavor for any team. It's crucial to have at least one miner with a fast mining tool, such as the Driller's drills or the Engineer's platform gun for quick access to higher veins. The Scout's flare gun is also invaluable for illuminating the often dark and sprawling areas where these deposits are found.
