Alright, greenbeard, let's talk about the Point Extraction mission. This one's a bit different from the others you've probably tried. Instead of digging up a ton of Morkite or hunting down eggs, your main goal here is to find and secure a specific piece of equipment: the Mini-M.U.L.E.

The Objective

Your primary objective in a Point Extraction mission is to locate and deploy 4 Mini-M.U.L.E.s. Once deployed, you'll need to defend them while they drill into the ground and extract valuable resources. After all four have finished their extraction, you'll need to collect the extracted materials and bring them back to the drop pod. Think of it like a very small, very focused salvage operation, but you're the one doing the salvaging!

How to Succeed

Here's the drill-down on how to tackle these:

• Locate the M.U.L.E.s: They're usually scattered around the cave system. Keep an eye on your scanner and explore thoroughly.
• Deploy and Defend: Once you find a Mini-M.U.L.E., interact with it to deploy it. It'll start drilling. This is your cue to set up defenses! Swarms will come, so be ready to fight. Assign roles if you're with a squad – some defend, some mine nearby resources.
• Resource Collection: After the M.U.L.E.s finish drilling, they'll have deposited resources. You'll need to gather these. The amount varies, but it's usually a decent haul.
• Extraction: Once all resources are collected, it's time to head back to the drop pod. Make sure everyone is accounted for before you call it in!

• Watch your ammo: These missions can sometimes feel like a constant fight, especially if you get unlucky with enemy spawns. Conserve your ammo when you can.
• Use your traversal tools: Zip lines, platforms, drills – they're all useful for getting around quickly and setting up good defensive positions.
• Secondary Objectives: Don't forget about the secondary objectives! They add extra Credits and Experience, which are always good. Just don't get so caught up in them that you forget the main goal.
