Learn how to beat the Dark Armor boss in Chained Together. Get tips on its attacks, status effects, and the best strategy to emerge victorious.

Alright, we've finally come face-to-face with "The Voice" and it's time for another Sky Armor boss fight. This one isn't too brutal, but it really hinges on you having a solid stash of healing items. Remember those warnings from earlier? They're super important here!

The main reason you need those healing items is because the Dark Armor has two nasty moves that inflict the dreaded "Terrified" status. First, there's "Pure Terror," which not only chunks half of a single party member's HP but also applies "Terrify." Egyl will remind you, and he's right: if you don't heal to FULL HP immediately, you're toast. This means your dedicated healer is crucial, but a good supply of healing items is your backup plan. Then there's "Full Terror," which hits EVERYONE with the same effect. Seriously, everyone needs to be topped off, or you're looking at a game over. This is why having extra healing items is a lifesaver.

To make things smoother, try to keep your party's HP as close to full as possible throughout the entire fight. It makes healing much more manageable.

For its other attacks, the Dark Armor has a standard hit that targets three party members, dealing around 200-500 damage each. It also has "Thunder Lance," which can hit the whole party for 700-1,000 damage and has a chance to paralyze. Not ideal, as you can probably guess!

So, what's the best way to fight back? Besides keeping everyone healed to FULL HP, your best bet is to apply status effects. Poison and Defense Break are fantastic, but you can also hit it with Silence and Inact. These should give you a few precious turns to deal some serious damage. Keep this strategy going, hit it hard when you get the chance, and you'll take it down!

Upon victory, you'll snag a [_GRIMOIRE SHARD_], which is always nice. You'll also get a ton of dialogue with that mysterious person, who decides you can hold onto the shard for now.

After the fight, there are some scenes to enjoy. They'll wrap up with you back in Hermit's Isle, waking up and heading to a meeting with the group. Cameron is awake too, which is good to see. Enjoy the meeting, and soon you'll get to take control of Amalia and be tasked with checking in on everyone. We'll pick up with Amalia in the next section and dive into some new side-quests from there!
