Master the boss fights in Chained Together! This guide covers strategies for Wywyan and Sandworm, including their weaknesses, attack patterns, and recommended skills.

Alright, let's dive into Part 121 of our Chained Together guide. This section is all about tackling some of the early bosses you'll encounter. Don't worry, we'll break them down so you can take them down!

Note: Seriously, don't peek at this section if you want to avoid spoilers! It's best to discover these fights as they come.

BOSS 1: WYWYAN

This is your very first boss fight, so take a deep breath! The main thing here is to get comfortable with the Overdrive Gauge. Your goal is to keep it in the 'Green' zone as much as possible. Don't be afraid to use your 'Defend' command or healing items – now's the time to use them up! Kylian's 'Helping Hand' is also your best friend for keeping everyone's HP topped up.

Skills like 'Motivating Words' and 'Armor Break' are super useful here. Re-apply them whenever you can, especially if it helps you stay in the Green Overdrive. Hyne's poison is also a great way to chip away at Wywyan's health, as it's one of his main weaknesses.

Wywyan himself hits pretty regularly, dealing about 25-30 damage per melee attack. He can also buff his own defense, which is why 'Armor Break' is so handy. When his health gets low, his attacks can hit everyone for around 30 damage, so keeping your HP above 40 is key. With all the healing items, Kylian's support, and your party's combined strength, this fight is definitely manageable. Focus on your hard-hitting skills, especially Marlocks, to take down this Sky Armor Pilot.

After the fight, you'll snag a [_GRIMOIRE SHARD_]. We'll cover what that's for later. For now, enjoy the story!

BOSS 2: SANDWORM

This encounter starts a bit differently. You'll face some Robbers first, but resist the urge to unleash your 'Ultra Move' right away! Just fight them normally for a bit. After a short while, an earthquake will hit, and the real boss, the Sandworm, will make its grand entrance!

Don't stress, this boss is also pretty early-game friendly. The Sandworm is weak to water, so have Lenne spam her 'Water Thrust' whenever possible. She should also use 'Cleanse' to remove the Sandworm's 'Bed of Stones' buff, which gives it HP Regen – you absolutely don't want that!

When you get the chance, use your 'Ultra Move' as it deals even more damage than 'Water Thrust'. Robb should focus on poisoning the Sandworm and then using his skills to lower the Overdrive Bar whenever it's safe. He can also step in to heal if needed.
