Achieve the Good Ending in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night by using the Holy Glasses to break the green orb during the Richter fight.
Walkthrough
- 1Equip the Holy Glasses.
- 2Go to the room after the dialogue with Richter and Alucard. You should now see a green orb flying around Richter.
- 3Instead of attacking Richter, aim specifically for the green orb.
- 4After several attacks to the orb, it will break, triggering a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) (a non-interactive scene that advances the story).
- 5You will achieve the Good Ending.
- 6The game will guide you to the teleporter to the Inverted Castle.
- 7Once in the Inverted Castle, you will need to teleport back to the normal castle by pressing down.
- 8Open your map (a visual representation of the game world, often displayed on the HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap) - Heads-Up Display).
- 9You will notice a gray area above your head in the teleporter room of the normal castle. Jump to get this covered (fully explored on the map).
- 10Save your game.
- 11Restart your game and check your completion percentage. If your file says 100.1%, you have all the map coverage for the normal castle.
- 12If you do not have 100.1% coverage, analyze your map to find any missed rooms or small corners of large rooms you did not travel through.
- 13It is recommended to complete any remaining tasks in the normal castle now.
Tips
- The Holy Glasses are essential for making the green orb visible.
- Focus all attacks on the orb to break it quickly.
- Thoroughly explore the normal castle for 100.1% map coverage before proceeding to the Inverted Castle.
