Learn how to navigate the Castle Keep and Outer Wall in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, facing off against Axe Knights and the Flea Rider. Get the Tyrfing and Leap Stone!

Alright, let's get through this first section of the Castle Keep. You'll start in a pretty cramped hallway, and guess what? Axe Knights are here to greet you. Once you've dealt with them, you'll move into the next room. This one has a red door and some moving platforms – don't worry about that red door just yet. Your goal is the door on the right. Hop onto those platforms to reach it, and you'll snag the Tyrfing. Honestly, this weapon is hilariously bad if you equip it right away, dropping your attack to zero. It's more of a joke than anything!

After grabbing the Tyrfing, head back out and make your way to the door on the opposite side of the room you just came from. This is the main area of the Castle Keep, and right now, you can only access the ground floor. Push forward, and you'll need to jump over some broken pillars to reach the bottom-left part of this room.

Keep going until you can't go any further. You'll spot a relic on a broken platform – this is the Leap Stone! This is your double jump, which is a game-changer. It'll make navigating the castle so much easier, letting you jump over obstacles and reach new areas you couldn't before. Seriously, this relic opens up a ton of the castle.

With your new double jump, grab the Turquoise gem floating above you. Then, blast that wall to the left of the gem to find a Turkey. After that, you're done with the Castle Keep for now. Head back to that room with the moving platforms and go through the red door on the bottom-right. This teleporter has a lion's head above it. The next ones are a horse, then a scorpion. Make sure you take the teleporter with the Scorpion symbol; it'll drop you back into the Outer Wall.
