After you've cleared the sewers, you'll be tasked with meeting up with Pavlov and his recon team. He's waiting near the building's exit and will give you a heads-up about German snipers, so keep your head down! Your squad is lying low in a ditch across a snowy field from the apartment building. Pavlov's plan is for Private Kovalenko to act as bait for the German snipers while you take them out. Kovalenko might grumble, but he'll move once he knows the consequences of not following orders. As he makes his run, keep your eyes peeled for those seven German snipers and take them down quickly. Watch out! Incoming German artillery and Focke-Wulf 200 Condor bombers will force you out of the ditch. You'll need to make a run for the apartment building. Expect heavy fire from MG42s and infantry along the ground floor. Take cover behind a stone wall at the edge of the field and push forward after the firefight. You'll need to clear the basement and all five floors of German soldiers to secure the building.
