Leaning

Learn how to use the leaning mechanic in Call of Duty: World at War to expose less of yourself to enemies while maintaining your aim.

This feature, also present in some other games, lets you lean out past or around a corner to check for enemies. While this was initially only available in multiplayer mode, you can now use it in any game mode, whether single-player or multiplayer. The primary benefit of leaning is that you expose a minimal amount of yourself to the enemy while still being able to shoot them. It is particularly useful during urban battles.
