Remote Cavern

Alright, before we dive into the Remote Cavern, make sure you've accepted quests 20 through 24. Quest 20 is the only one you absolutely *have* to do for progression, but the others are good to have on the side!

The Remote Cavern is a bit of a maze, with areas 1 and 2 being highly interconnected, almost like they're stacked on top of each other. You won't be able to explore everything right away, especially since the eastern door in Area 1 is locked, blocking off a good chunk of the map. For now, the dungeon is mostly optional, and you should be able to hit that 50% exploration goal for Area 1 without too much trouble.

Remote Cavern Area 1

As mentioned, Area 1 is interconnected with Area 2, and you'll find yourself backtracking or finding new paths between them. The locked eastern door is the main roadblock here, preventing full exploration until later in the game. Focus on completing quest 20 and getting that 50% exploration done.

Remote Cavern Area 2

Keep an eye out in Area 2 for a really good chest. It's located south of the map's approximate center, and you'll have to go down a long, dead-end path to reach it. Inside, you'll find the Thief Boots. These are a fantastic accessory, especially for Rujierd or Rudeus, because they boost agility and luck. Even better, they grant the 'Treasure Hunter' passive, which significantly improves your drop chances. You'll want to keep these on someone at all times!

Also, don't forget about the Fortune Dice you get from quest 23. It's another solid item that gives you a chance to survive a lethal blow with 1 HP, plus it offers good defensive stats and luck.

Just a heads-up, there aren't any more quests available here for now besides the ones you've already accepted (20-24). You'll have to come back later when you can unlock that eastern door in Area 1 to fully explore the rest of the dungeon.
