Master the Dusk Cavern in Beast of Reincarnation! Learn the optimal quest order, find key items like the Filim Leaf and Fat Liver, and prepare for the Ouroboros encounter.

Alright, let's get you through the Dusk Cavern in Beast of Reincarnation. Before you even step foot inside, make sure you've tackled quests 60, 65, 66, and 68. Getting those done first will make your life much easier in here.

Dusk Cavern Area 1

When you first enter Area 1, there's not much to do. You can technically hunt for Bluehounds here, but it won't unlock anything new or special, so don't waste your time. You'll see an access point to Area 2, but it's a dead end that you can reach later from a different path, so just ignore it and keep pushing forward. The real path to Area 2 is in the SE corner.

Dusk Cavern Area 2

This is where the bulk of the action is. You can complete the remaining three quests here. Keep an eye out for Ouroboros, a random snake enemy. It has a rare drop that you'll need, so be prepared to farm it if you don't get it the first time. The other two quest objectives are clearly marked on your map: the Southern goal is the Fat Liver, and the Northern goal is the Filim Leaf. Neither of these involve any fights, so you can grab them easily.

Don't stress too much if you don't get the Ouroboros drop right away; it's not essential for progressing. Once you've finished quests 66 and 68, head back to town to submit them. This will unlock two new quests: 67 and 69. Quest 69 technically belongs to the previous dungeon, but since it's a regular drop, you'll likely complete it automatically without even trying.

Quest 67 is the only remaining task within the Dusk Cavern. Its objective is actually located back in Area 1, but you'll need to access that part of Area 1 from the NW corner of Area 2. It's a random encounter, and the fight is pretty easy, so don't worry about it.

Tips for Ouroboros Drop
  • If you're still struggling to get the Ouroboros Eye after exploring thoroughly, I recommend equipping Rujierd with Geese accessories. Make sure at least one of them is the Thief Boots, and also max out Geese's passive drop rate ability.
  • A good spot to farm Ouroboros is a small, 5-tile corridor located below the NW material spot in Area 2.

And that's it for the Dusk Cavern! You're all set to move on to the Abandoned Temple next.
