A-Musing Tale

Follow our step-by-step guide to complete the 'A-Musing Tale' quest in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, including finding Aikaterine and dealing with the cultist.

Alright, so you've managed to get Thespis back safe and sound. Great job! Now, the next step in this quest is to find his muse, Aikaterine. She's hanging out just west of where you are now, at a place called the House of Aphrodite.

Head over there and have a chat with her. She'll explain that she's too scared to join the play because some Athenian commander is threatening her life. Turns out, this guy's a member of the Cult of Kosmos. He's holed up in the barracks north of the House of Aphrodite, so that's where you need to go next.

The barracks aren't exactly crawling with guards, and this commander isn't packing any special moves, so it should be a pretty straightforward takedown. If you want to make things even easier, try climbing the walls and picking off the guards with headshots – they go down instantly that way. Once the commander's dealt with, confirm the cultist kill, and then you can head back to Aikaterine.

When you get back, she'll offer you something. Don't stress too much about this choice; it won't actually change how the quest wraps up. After you've seen the little cutscene, your final task is to return to Aristophanes over at the Theatre of Dionysos. Enjoy the show!
