Athens' Last Hope

Follow our step-by-step guide to complete the 'Athens' Last Hope' quest in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, including how to handle the cultist guards and Athenian soldiers.

Alright, so after saying goodbye to Phoibe, your next move is to find Aspasia. She's hanging out at the Temple of Athena, which is pretty easy to spot – just head directly north from the Odeon of Perikles. Once you get to the temple entrance, you'll trigger a chat with Aspasia. You've got a choice here: you can either lay the blame on her for Phoibe's death, or you can just tell her straight up that the cult was responsible. No matter which way you go, the scene that follows ends with Perikles getting killed.

After you've seen your sibling do the deed and Perikles is dead, you'll need to take down two more cultist guards. Once they're down, you'll need to make a quick exit from Athens with Aspasia, Hippokrates, and Sokrates. When the cutscene wraps up, just run with them towards your ship. As you get close, about five Athenian soldiers will try to block your path. Don't sweat them too much – they're not super tough. Just focus on the lighter-armored ones first, and try to avoid getting hit by the guys in heavier gear. Once you've dealt with all of them, Hippokrates and Sokrates will say their goodbyes, and that's it – the quest is complete!
