The Serpent's Lair

Alright, so you've made it to 'The Serpent's Lair' quest in Assassin's Creed Odyssey. First things first, Herodotus has already headed off to the Temple of Apollo in the Sanctuary of Delphi. Your job is to meet him outside the temple doors. Just find him there and have a chat.

Once you're done talking, you'll find yourself inside the temple. Your next move is to head deeper into the temple until you reach the main chamber. Here, you'll trigger a cutscene and start a conversation with one of the cultists. After that little chat, you'll need to approach the other cultists who have those handy search icons floating above their heads. Talking to them will give you more intel on the cult. Don't stress too much about which dialogue choices you pick here; they don't really change anything important.

After gathering intel, make your way east, heading under the waterfall. You're looking for some letters hidden in a small box on the floor – grab them to uncover more secrets. Next up, head northwest. You'll find one cultist interrogating another. You'll have a choice to make here about what to do with the interrogated cultist. Once that's settled, return to the center of the chamber.

In the center of the chamber, you'll need to interact with a specific artifact. This will kick off another cutscene, and here's the big reveal: the apparent leader of the Cult of Kosmos is actually your sibling! After the cutscene wraps up, you'll have a chance to talk to Herodotus again. He'll give you the lowdown on what to do next. Once your conversation with Herodotus is finished, this quest will be complete.
