A Bloody Feast

Confront the Kings of Sparta and expose a cultist in Assassin's Creed Odyssey's 'A Bloody Feast' quest. Learn how to deal with Pausanias, whether banished or not.

Alright, so you've just wrapped up Boeotia for Sparta, and it's time to head back to Myrrine. She's waiting for you right in front of the throne room in the capital. Your main goal here is to have a chat with the Kings of Sparta and, more importantly, point the finger at one of them who's secretly part of the Cult of Kosmos. If you managed to convince Lagos to ditch the cult instead of, you know, ending him, you'll have the solid proof you need to nail Pausanias as the cultist King. But hey, if you didn't, don't sweat it too much – you can still accuse him. The only difference is that instead of getting banished and fighting him on the road, the Ephors will banish *you*. This means you'll have to sneak into Sparta and take him down yourself.

If Pausanias gets the boot, you'll find him chilling on the road, probably surrounded by guards. This is where those sweet bow skills like Predator Shot come in handy for taking him out from a distance. Now, if you're the one who ends up banished, Pausanias will be a bit more exposed within the city of Sparta. Use Ikaros to get a bead on his exact location, then wait for him to wander into a less crowded spot before you strike. Just be super careful not to accidentally whack any civilians; that'll just bring a swarm of guards down on you. Once Pausanias is dealt with, grab whatever evidence you can from his corpse and report back to Archidamos.

Once you've made your choice about how to handle Kassandra, this quest wraps up.
