Opening Hours:

• Normal Ordinance: 9am to 11pm
• Early Bird Ordinance: 6am to 11pm
• Night Owl Ordinance: 9am to 2am

It is generally recommended to sell loot to Reese rather than the Nooklings for better prices.

Selling to Reese

Reese, a pink alpaca, will buy almost anything for a higher price than Timmy and Tommy Nook. Check the sign outside the shop to see which items are being bought at a premium (double price) that day.

Some items cannot be sold to Reese and require a disposal fee:

• Trash (e.g., cans, boots, tires) found while fishing: 80 bells
• Spoiled turnips: 400 bells

Alternatively, trash can be disposed of for free by purchasing a trash can from Timmy and Tommy or building one as a Public Work project.

Flea Market

You can sell items to other villagers through the flea market. Walk up to an empty space with a chalkboard and place an item for sale. Reese will ask you the price, starting with the amount she would pay for the item.

Bells from flea market sales go directly to your post office account. You can sometimes encourage other villagers present in Re-Tail to buy your items by speaking to them.

Customization

Cyrus, Reese's husband, offers item customization. He will only wake up after you have sold 100,000 bells worth of items to Reese, owned 50 different furniture pieces, and 10 different clothing items. You must also have lived in town for over 7 days.

Cyrus can change the color of certain furniture and fossils for 300 bells per item. To obtain the necessary gems for customization, hit fake rocks with your shovel. There is one fake rock per day, and hitting it with a silver shovel can yield gems from money rocks.

Note that Cyrus will go back to sleep if your gates are open.
