July 7th: Tanabata (Japan only). Receive Bamboo Grass from Isabelle in the town plaza between 6am and midnight.

July 16th to September 15th: Tanning Season (All regions). Spend 15 minutes outside between 10am and 5pm on a sunny day without using an umbrella or wearing a hat or mask to increase your tan. There are seven shades of tanned skin.

Third Saturday in July: Summer clothing is sent by your mother (All regions). Bug-Off (All regions): A bug-catching contest.

August: Big Cloud Season (All regions). You may see big clouds between 9am and 3pm. Fireworks Season (All regions). Timmy and Tommy Nook sell fireworks.

Sundays in August: Fireworks Displays (All regions). Displays occur between 7pm and midnight. Receive shiny accessories from Isabelle in the town plaza. Buy fortune cookies from Redd to win rare items.

August 8th: Shaved Ice (All regions). Your mother sends a Shaved-Ice Maker.

August 15th or 16th: Obon (Japan only). Receive an Eggplant Cow or Cucumber Horse from Isabelle in the town plaza between 6am and midnight.

Third Saturday in August: Bug-Off (All regions). A bug-catching contest.

September 3rd: Weeding Day (Japan only). If you pulled all the weeds in your town on September 2nd, Leif will unlock topiaries in your list of public works. Pull 30 or more weeds in your town to get exclusive items from Leif.

First Monday in September: Labour Day (North America only). Receive a Picnic Basket from Isabelle in the town plaza between 6am and midnight.

September or October (date varies): Otsukimi (Japan only). Receive Dango from Isabelle in the town plaza between 6am and midnight.

September or October (date varies): Autumn Moon (North America only). Receive a Wheat Bundle from Isabelle in the town plaza between 6am and midnight.

September or October (date varies): Autumn Moon (Europe only). Receive a Veggie Basket from Isabelle in the town plaza between 6am and midnight.
