Using The Museum

Learn about fossils in animal crossing new leaf. Find up to six fossils daily, donate them to the museum, or sell them at Re-Tail for bells.

Every day, an average of three fossils are buried in your town, with up to six possible if you are lucky. You can take these fossils to Blathers in the museum for assessment. After assessment, you can either donate them to be displayed in the museum or sell them at Re-Tail to earn bells.
