Follow our comprehensive guide to navigate the 'Welcome to Bright Falls (2)' chapter of Alan Wake Remastered, including finding Carl Stucky and activating the cabin generator.
Walkthrough
- 1Pose for Alice: Speak to Alice, then go to the stern of the boat to find a man in camouflage. Go to the bow and speak to Pat Maine, who recognizes Alan and requests an interview. Speak to Alice again, and your conversation will be interrupted by a call from Barry Wheeler. The ferry arrives in Bright Falls; get back in the car.
- 2Find Carl Stucky: At the Oh Deer Diner, speak to the waitress Rose. Approach the two bikers and play track 6, _Coconut_, on the jukebox. Use the jukebox and tap X when the selection arm sticks. Grab a Coffee Thermos (4/100) from the counter. Head to the back corridor and knock on the men's toilet door. A woman will give you the key to a cabin. Leave the diner and rejoin Alice. Carl Stucky will emerge from the diner as you drive away.
- 3Go to the Cabin: After the scenes, you'll be by a bridge to your cabin on Diver's Isle. Go back up the path to where Alice parked the car to find an overlook. Press L3 for an overhead view. Pick up a Coffee Thermos (5/100). Go back down the path, cross the bridge, and go past the cabin to an outbuilding. Inside, fire up the generator by clicking on it and pressing X three times when the crank is in the green zone to unlock the Let There Be Light trophy.
- 4Return to Alice: Leave the shack. Go to the cabin and inside. Go out the back door and find a Radio (1/11) on the porch. Switch it on. Go back inside and find a Coffee Thermos (6/100) on the kitchen counter. Go upstairs to the bedroom, then to the study where Alice has prepared a typewriter. Alan storms out. The lights go out, and Alice cries out. As you head back across the bridge, you'll be attacked by flocks of birds; use your torch and L2. Go back inside the cabin to find Alice has fallen into the lake. Alan dives in after her. You wake up at the wheel of a crashed car.
Tips
- The man in camouflage on the boat is a character you'll encounter later.
- If you need to farm birds for the 'If It Flies, It Burns' trophy (1000 kills), you can reload the checkpoint after the cabin attack.
