Walkthrough

    After the opening cutscene, look up at the light. Head up the road.

    Go past the "Bridge Out" sign to find a Coffee Thermos (1/100).

    Backtrack and head down the other path towards the lighthouse. You'll see the hitchhiker.

    Continue past a noticeboard and jump over a barrier (X).

    In a fenced-off area, the hitchhiker will attack. Dodge his attacks (L1 + left analog stick) to trigger slow-motion cinematic dodges.

    After two dodges, the hitchhiker stops attacking. Approach the now-open gate.

    Cross the bridge; the hitchhiker reappears. Run along the path until you see a friendly figure (Clay Steward).

    Leave the shelter and drop to the path. Three Taken appear; use the flare gun on the one in the middle to take them all out.

    At the end of the path, sprint across a narrow bridge to evade two more Taken.

    Run across a road bridge ahead of a tornado, being careful not to fall.

    On the other side, find a Coffee Thermos (3/100) on a bench.

    Continue to the lighthouse. After a cutscene, Alan wakes up in his car on a ferry.
Tips
  • Collecting 25 coffee thermoses unlocks the Damn Good Cup of Coffee trophy, and all 100 unlocks Hypercaffeinated.
  • You can unlock trophies for cinematic dodges (Float Like a Butterfly) and executing 20 dodges (Missed By a Mile), but not during this specific encounter.
  • Use the flare gun to take out groups of enemies efficiently.
