Complete walkthrough for Age of Mythology Part 19, "A Place In My Dreams". Learn how to rescue prisoners, build a Wonder, and defeat the Poseidon Statue.

Walkthrough

   Assign all villagers to farms south of your town and upgrade farm technologies. Avoid advancing to the Plenty Vaults too early.

   Keep your forces near the pass north of your town. Protect healing units like the Valkyrie and Son of Osiris. The Son of Osiris cannot be healed, so guard him carefully. Do not focus on defending the Norse and Egyptian Town Centers.

   Create approximately 20 more villagers and assign them to mine gold and chop wood south of the Egyptian Town Center for protection from raids.

   Use your God Powers frequently; the Meteor God Power will recharge. Build a market behind your town for safety but do not create trade caravans.

   Focus on advancing to the Mythic Age and choose Hephaestus as your Minor God. Avoid creating human military units as they will be ineffective against upgraded enemy units.

   Once in the Mythic Age, use the "Plenty" God Power to create a vault near your first town. Keep villagers busy with farming and gathering favor at temples.

   To build a Wonder, you will need 1000 food, 1000 wood, 1000 gold, and 50 favor. Build it behind your base and assign at least 10 villagers to construct it.

   After the Wonder is built, cast the Blessing of Zeus God Power on Arkantos to make him significantly more powerful.

   Your primary objective is now to destroy the Poseidon Statue. You can take Arkantos alone to win quickly, or research "Olympic Parentage" at your Town Center or Temple for an even stronger hero.

    For a more engaging experience, capture the vacant Norse and Egyptian Settlements. Use Arkantos to clear enemy buildings and units. Build Armories and research technologies up to Champion Hoplites. Capture all Town Centers on the map and collect artifacts.

    Artifact locations: one west-north of the Norse camp, one northwest along a grassy path, and one north-east of your base near enemy buildings.

    For an extreme challenge, skip building a Wonder and attack the Poseidon Statue with large armies of upgraded human units. Be prepared to constantly replace fallen troops due to the Statue's rapid health regeneration.

Tips

• When rescuing prisoners, destroy the nearby building (Citadel Town Center, Temple, Fortress, or Tower(s)) to lower the walls. Safely escort prisoners to your home base, then to the transport, and finally to the island with a flag to the west.
• Protect your healing units at all costs.
• Concentrate on your own economy and defense; do not worry about allied Town Centers.
• Prioritize advancing to the Mythic Age.
• The Son of Osiris unit cannot be healed.
• Consider capturing vacant settlements for additional resources and strategic advantage.
• Researching "Olympic Parentage" significantly boosts Arkantos's power.

Victory is achieved upon dropping off 15 rescued prisoners. Completing the scenario triggers a movie and the game's ending credits, signifying that you have beaten the game. You will also find 3 artifacts in this scenario. The final showdown is against the Poseidon Statue in Atlantis.
