Walkthrough:

1. Scenario: Not From Around Here
   • Start by building a dock on the west pond and create fishing ships for food.
   • Advance to the Heroic Age when possible. Concentrate on offense by building Hersir, gatherers, dwarves, and fishing boats.
   • Build a temple and create 1-2 Valkyries for healing; keep them out of direct combat. Assign heroes to one group and Valkyries to another.
   • To assault the enemy base: send longboats up the river to clear a path, then use transports. Alternatively, if going through tunnels, wait until your population is maxed and most blacksmith upgrades are complete.
   • Locate 3 hidden artifacts in the eastern cavern: they are revealed when you find enemy miners at a gold mine, guarded by mummies and snakes.
   • Once you advance further, build more Longhouses and temples. Focus on assaulting the enemy forges.
   • The objective is to push through to the center and bring your heroes there to win.
   • 'Not From Around Here' Specifics:
   • Gather your four heroes and assign them a hotkey. Group your hoplites and throwing axemen separately.
   • Leave Skult and the flag bearer at Aqua Hill Fort. Move your hero and troop groups ahead.
   • At intersections, head left and clear out giants and temples. Use heroes for giants and regular troops for temples. Keep human troops away from giants as they cannot respawn.
   • Use the Healing Spring God Power near the center for your human troops.
   • After clearing left and right areas, head north. Use siege to destroy boulder paths.
   • Build a settlement with throwing axemen, gather resources, and advance to the Heroic Age.
   • Build a Hill Fort and create at least four Portable Rams. Research Draft Horses to speed up attacking the center wall.
   • When the boulders are damaged, a large contingent of giants will attack. Do not fight them in your town; instead, move all troops north with heroes in front to deal with giants.
   • When blocked by a forest and river, move heroes near trees to burn them and freeze the river. Move all units north.
   • Bring Skult and the Flag Bearer to the flag in the far north to win.
   • Scenario: Welcoming Committee
     • You start in battle; use archers to defeat initial enemies.
     • Build at least five Towers on your hill, placing three on the lower right and one on other sides.
     • Cast Healing Spring in the middle for troop healing. Use hotkeys to group troops (e.g., Control-1 for heroes, Control-2/3 for infantry).
     • Send the Flag Bearer to meet Green near the enemy gate. Do not retreat until the clan leader moves, then return to the Healing Spring. Cast Bronze when the enemy approaches.
     • Once the leader moves, wait for him to be in range of Towers and long-ranged units. Focus all attacks on the leader. Heroes should also attack him. Other infantry should protect archers.
     • If the leader doesn't move, defeat approaching armies. Remember unit counters: Archers/Towers vs. infantry, Infantry vs. cavalry, Cavalry vs. archers.
     • After defeating the leader, you command his troops, including new ballista. Heal your troops and build more Towers on the north/west of your hill.
     • Bring the Flag Bearer out again and head towards Purple, using the same strategy.
   Tips

   • Always keep Valkyries out of direct combat and use them solely for healing.
   • Utilize hotkeys to manage your army effectively, grouping heroes, infantry, and ranged units.
   • When facing giants, prioritize saving your human troops as they do not respawn like heroes.
   • Use siege units like Portable Rams to break through defensive structures.
   • Understand unit counters to gain an advantage in battles.
   • Leverage God Powers like Healing Spring strategically to sustain your forces.
