Age of Mythology Part 13 walkthrough: Destroy the dock, advance to Heroic using Hathor, and defeat Kamos.
Walkthrough
- 1Move your heroes forward with hoplites and siege units. Let heroes engage the enemy first, then draw them back to be attacked by champion hoplites.
- 2Use your heroes primarily to destroy the colossus.
- 3Use your siege units to destroy any buildings the enemy may create by the temple.
- 4Destroy the dock to gain command of the two pirate ships.
- 5Allow all units to board the pirate ships and head to the blue flag through the channel.
- 6Once you land, create villages and a granary to upgrade farms. Build economically and do not worry about offense until Kamos' scouts detect you.
- 7Build an army of heavy slingers, spearmen, and myth units. Create a Roc or two for air transport.
- 8Use Rocs to transport villagers back to the first island and to bring back the Gold Colossus from the allied temple. Keep these units healed.
- 9When ferrying villagers south, explore the south-most corner for 2 artifacts and two gold mines.
- 10Advance to the Mythic Age. To destroy the Migdol Stronghold on the mountain, place two upgraded siege towers and a collection of upgraded spearmen and slingers in a Roc.
- 11The southern route to the top is less dangerous. Fill 3 Rocs with 5 or more Gold Colossi and a good collection of troops and myth units, then drop them off where Kamos lies.
- 12Use the colossi to drain about half of Kamos' energy to complete the mission.
Tips
- Use Rocs to transport villagers back to the first island and to bring back the Gold Colossus from the allied temple.
- Keep your Roc-transported units healed.
- Explore the south-most corner for 2 artifacts and two gold mines.
- Advance to the Mythic Age before attempting to destroy the Migdol Stronghold.
- The southern route to the top is less dangerous.
Walkthrough
- 1Regroup if destroyed; there are safe places to rebuild.
- 2Organize your military just out of range of the enemy gates. Boom (create many villagers) and gather resources.
- 3Build a Migdol Stronghold and a temple on the right-hand section of troops, out of range of the gates.
- 4When able, build a market. Use gold only for siege and monuments. Create myth units that do not require gold to fend off attacks.
- 5Heal your troops between waves of attackers.
- 6Recover the artifact between your two forces by boating over or cutting through trees for a trickle of gold.
- 7Continue to fend off attacks and build myth units until Arkantos arrives.
- 8Build a town center where Arkantos arrives to harvest the rich gold mine.
- 9Create siege towers and catapults and slowly advance to the pyramid.
- 10As you progress, build additional temples and Migdol Strongholds to secure your foothold.
- 11Once a path to the pyramid is broken, deal with myth units emerging from the underworld passage until all Osiris Pieces are brought to the location.
Tips
- There are many places on the map where you may rebuild your forces that the enemy has a difficult time reaching.
- Gold is scarce at the start; focus on myth units that do not require gold.
- The artifact between your two forces provides a small trickle of gold.
- Build additional temples and Migdol Strongholds as you progress towards the pyramid.
Walkthrough
- 1Kill the villager who comes to kill the pig.
- 2Bring yourself and Ajax forward and free all the pigs.
- 3Attack any villagers you see; they will retreat to a sentry tower.
- 4Continue to advance and save all the pigs. Attack fences to open them.
- 5Bring all pigs and yourself past the castles to the temple of Zeus.
- 6Build a town center on the nearby settlement and harvest resources, focusing gold mining and woodcutting to the north due to attacks from the south.
- 7Advance to the Heroic Age and create myth units to deal with the enemy.
- 8Create two pegasi and scout the rest of the island using waypoints (right-click each point).
- 9Advance to the Mythic Age.
- 10Build powerful units and either stockpile myth units or take a more offensive approach to destroy Circe's Fortress.
Tips
- Losing one unit early will not greatly affect the outcome.
- You will not be attacked by the castles when bringing the pigs past them.
- Scout the island quickly using waypoints.
