Skirmish 1 - Outskirts of Bruhl (2)

Start with Welkin. Use targeting mode with a smoke round (a type of ammunition that creates a cloud of smoke) and aim for the middle of the bridge. Auto-target the shocktrooper behind the gatling guns and adjust slightly right to obscure both the gatling guns and the front of the light tank. End your turn.

Reselect Welkin and use a mortar round (artillery fire) directly on the enemy shocktrooper leader in front of you. This should eliminate three shocktroopers, reducing cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) fire and netting one leader.

Select your engineer and carefully walk through the smoke across the bridge. Once a couple of steps in, you will be able to see enemies through the smoke.

Disarm EVERY mine as you move across the bridge, including tank mines. You might step on a mine, but disarming it before stepping off prevents detonation.

At the end of the smoke, target the enemy leader shocktrooper in the base and take them out with a headshot (a shot aimed at the head for critical damage).

Select Largo and follow the same path to where the enemy leader was. Aim for the weak spot of the light tank or the tank destroyer and take one out.

With 3 CP remaining, use 2 CP to send your two strongest shocktroopers towards the northeastern and northwestern bases to eliminate the sniper leaders in those bases before tank destroyers can attack. (If you have trouble, moving Welkin forward slightly on his second shot can open a path for a shocktrooper to reach the sniper leader up the hill.)

Reselect Largo, take out the remaining tank, and occupy the base.
