Extra 1 - Largo's Passion

Deploy Welkin and Largo. Pick Alicia or Rosie for the extra CP, but they won't be used.

Select Welkin. Move him northwest towards the first ladder. Go right at the fork and shoot the enemy leader scout. Continue forward, up and down the path, ignoring the hidden shocktrooper.

Reselect Welkin and move him east. You can shoot the hidden scout if desired, but it's not essential. Move down the hill to the left and position Welkin near the northwestern-most tree, facing the road.

Select Largo. Move him along the same path as Welkin. On the second turn, move him up and over the obstacle, then position him behind the tree around the corner to the right for cover from the roving scout. Face backwards for a better chance to evade the shocktrooper.

On the enemy's turn, they will move and may attack Largo, who should be fine. The main threat is the enemy shocktrooper leader that will appear where Welkin is. Evade or survive its attack. If you die, reload and try a different position.

On your turn, select Welkin and immediately shoot or grenade the shocktrooper leader.

Turn Welkin around, head west up the hill, and duck left behind the wall to avoid the gatling gun. Move to the edge of the wall but do not advance further right.

Select Largo. Move him forward and around the corner, then straight for the gatling gun. He can destroy it in one hit, but accuracy is low at night. Get as close as possible without going beyond the second bunker. Once destroyed, crouch.

Select Welkin again. Move him up and turn right. Depending on enemy movement, there will likely be a scout and a lancer in this area. Find and kill the lancer, as it's the only unit that can threaten Largo next phase. Avoid the scout, climb the ladder, and hide in the grass facing back the way you came.

On the next turn, move Largo up and around the corner, across, and toward the ladder. Save the game.

Run Largo up the ladder and to the far back left (northeast) point. Use your remaining 3 CP and 3 shots to aim and fire at the two tanks. These are difficult shots; be prepared to reload if necessary.
