Classic Sniper Rifle Overview: Introduced in UT2004, this weapon was added to satisfy player requests for a traditional sniper rifle. It's less powerful than the Lightning Gun but faster and significantly harder to detect due to its lack of a prominent energy beam.

Primary Fire Mode: Fires a bullet with instant hit, pinpoint accuracy. Deals 60 damage to the torso and 120 to the head. Damage vs. Vehicles is 35. Rate of Fire is 10 shots per 10 seconds. Each shot consumes 1 ammo and produces a small puff of smoke visible to the shooter, which stacks with consecutive shots, making visibility progressively harder.

Secondary Fire Mode: Acts as the zoom function. Hold to zoom in gradually, release to set zoom level. Press again to zoom out. Moving, jumping, or falling does not affect the scope.

Tactics for Smoke Obscurity: To counter the smoke effect, alternate between standing and crouching between shots, or strafe left and right while crouching to shoot around the smoke.

Stealth and Positioning: The rifle's stealth makes it ideal for camping in Deathmatch (DM) maps or defending objectives. Its influence on the battle is less obvious than the Lightning Gun, making it harder for enemies to locate you.

Offensive Support: Use the rifle to snipe defenders from a distance, allowing your team to approach objectives with fewer engagements.

Weapon Switching: The Classic Sniper Rifle deals impressive damage and hits instantly, making it effective to land a first shot and then switch to another weapon.

Countering Detection: While stealthy, be aware that the enemy team will eventually discover your position. If you are repeatedly found, consider changing your sniping spot or tactics to avoid predictable sweeps.

Friendly Fire Warning: Be cautious, as you can easily shoot your teammates.
