Exploring Basswood's Landmarks

Follow this Twin Mirror walkthrough to discover all of Basswood's landmarks, find mementos, and unlock achievements as you uncover the town's secrets.

This section of the walkthrough covers exploring the town of Basswood, finding various landmarks, collecting mementos, and triggering memories in Twin Mirror.

1. The Car and the Tree: After the opening cutscene, find the moss-covered tree near your parked car to collect your first memento and unlock the Lost and Found achievement.
2. The Telescope: Locate the telescope nearby to trigger your first memory sequence in the Mind Palace, unlocking the A blast from the past achievement.
3. Coal Miner's Haven Sign: After the cutscene and phone call, head left of the bar and find the yellow Coal Miner's Haven sign against the fence for another memento.
4. The Bar - Photo Board: Inside the bar, make your way to the photo board at the back. Examine the photo in your pocket to enter the Mind Palace for another memory.
5. The Bar - Jukebox and Guitar: After the memory, find the jukebox to collect another memory, and then look at the guitar near the photoboard for a memento.
6. The Bathroom - Bloody Shirt: In the morning, go to the bathroom and examine the bloody shirt in the bathtub. This triggers a Mind Palace sequence. Successfully navigate the doors labeled "steady yourself," "take control," and "focus" without choosing incorrect doors to unlock the A foot in the door achievement. Choose the left mirror to end the sequence.
7. The Bar - Back Room Bottle: Enter the back room of the bar and retrieve the exotic bottle from the shelf for a memento.
8. The Bar - Pac-Man: Play the Pac-Man arcade machine for at least twenty seconds to unlock the Waka waka achievement.
9. Crime Scene Reconstruction: Examine the spilled glasses at the bar, the broken clock and furniture by the pillar, Joel's hat near the Pac-Man machine, the scratched seat near the exit, DG's bracelet at Nick's memorial, and Hugh's business card by the door. Enter the Mind Palace (RB) and choose DG's bracelet, the pillar, and the stage to reconstruct the scene.
10. Parking Lot and Alley Graffiti: After the crime scene, find another memento on the back of the white car in the parking lot. Talk to Declan, then examine the graffiti on the wall behind him for a memento.
11. Drug Store - Kathy's Jar: Enter the red drug store and look at Kathy's glass jar at the cashier counter for a memento.
12. Coffee Shop - Cork Board: Meet Anna at the coffee shop. After the card-picking memory, examine the cowboy boots keychain on the cork board by the door for a memento.
13. Basswood Jungle - Dennis' Body: Enter the Basswood Jungle through the employee entrance. In the cubicle on the right, examine Dennis' body and its surroundings in the correct order (injury, exit wound, bullet impact, holster, Dennis' gun, blood traces, Dennis' corpse) to unlock the Super sleuth achievement.
14. Dennis' Desk - Nameplate: After investigating the body, examine the nameplate on your old desk for a memento.
