Bomb Bomb

Alien: Isolation Bomb Clinic walkthrough: escape the Basement, restore power, and collect crew cards. Includes optional objectives and character tips.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Open the door to the Basement and immediately throw a flare to distract the Alien if you have one.
  2. 2
Go right, past the desk, and collect a crew card from a crate in the next room.
  3. 3
Return to the main corridor, turn right, and enter the room with a work light.
  4. 4
Hack the panel on the left to lock down the stairwell. Warning: If playing as Dallas, you must first climb stairs and pick up the Security Access Tuner (SAT) from a blue cabinet.
  5. 5
Climb the stairs to the next door and proceed through.
  6. 6
Turn right and walk down the dark corridor to restore power to the central elevator.
  7. 7
Use the terminal at the end of the corridor to delete the system data.
  8. 8
Turn around, go through the door to your right, turn left, and collect the second crew card from a desk.
  9. 9
Turn right and enter the generator room to restart it.
  10. 10
Crouch behind the generator and wait for the Alien to leave after investigating.
  11. 11
Use a noisemaker or flare to distract the Alien if needed, then make your way to the elevator.
  12. 12
Enter the elevator and press the button to escape.
Tips
  • For Best Score, Ellen or Ransome are good choices as they start with a flare.
  • Dallas has a disadvantage as he does not start with a Security Access Tuner (SAT), requiring backtracking.
  • For Best Time, character choice is less important as the Flamethrower can be picked up in the Preparation Room.
  • If you have a flare, throw it into the corridor to your left at the start to lure the Alien away.
  • If you have a noisemaker or flare, use it to distract the Alien when returning to the elevator.

Optional Objectives:

  • Collect 2 crew cards: Speed 2x, Time 6:15, Points 7500
  • Delete the system data: Speed 1x, Time 11:40, Points 7000
  • Lock down the stairwell: Speed 2x, Time 4:10, Points 5000

Walkthrough:

This section assumes you are playing as Ransome. You can play single challenge maps or Gauntlet Mode (all three maps without dying). No Medikits can be crafted, so you have one health bar.

Severance (SRV1-1)

Objective: Escape the penthouse area.

Tips
  • Amanda and Ellen have an advantage for Best Time runs as they start with the Flamethrower.
  • Amanda also has a cutting torch, allowing for a shortcut to an objective.

Optional Objectives:

  • Delete the server records: Speed 3x, Time 4:47, Points 5750
  • Disable the camera system: Speed 3x, Time 5:16, Points 9500
  • Seal the window shutters: Speed 2x, Time 5:50, Points 7000

Moonwalking

Learn the Moonwalking technique in Alien: Isolation for faster, silent movement. Works on keyboard and controller.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
While standing, hold down both the 'Move Forward' and 'Move Right' controls simultaneously.
  2. 2
This will cause you to walk completely silently.
  3. 3
On a keyboard, this is executed by holding down two keys.
  4. 4
On a controller, achieve this by holding the analog stick in the top right corner.
Tips
  • This technique is a faster alternative to crouching.
  • It is easier to execute on a keyboard than with a controller.
  • The next two techniques mentioned in the guide are keyboard-only and were discovered by PsychoHypnotic.
