Each map corresponds to a particular region and, once acquired, will permanently mark all remaining secrets in that zone.

General Strategy for Treasure Maps

• Prioritize Exploration: Often, Treasure Maps are found in less obvious corners of an area, sometimes requiring a bit of backtracking or keen observation.
• Use Survival Instinct: Regularly activate Lara's Survival Instinct (press L3 on PlayStation, LS on Xbox, or Q on PC) to highlight interactive objects and collectibles, including the glint of a Treasure Map scroll.

Treasure Map Locations and Walkthrough

Coastal Forest Treasure Map

This is likely the first Treasure Map you'll encounter, and it's relatively straightforward to find.

1. From the Forest Ruins Base Camp, head east towards the large, dilapidated building where you first encountered the Solarii.
2. Instead of going inside, look for a path leading around the right side of the building, towards the cliff face.
3. You'll need to jump across a small gap to a ledge. Follow this ledge.
4. The Treasure Map will be lying on a small altar or stone slab, easily visible.

Mountain Temple Treasure Map

This map is located within the Mountain Temple area, often missed on a first pass.

1. After clearing the Mountain Temple and acquiring the Pry Axe, return to the main temple structure.
2. Look for a section of the temple that requires the Pry Axe to open a boarded-up doorway. This is usually on the upper levels or a side path.
3. Once inside this hidden room, the Treasure Map will be on a table or pedestal.

Mountain Village Treasure Map

The Mountain Village is sprawling, but this map is in a distinct location.

1. Head to the area with the large waterfall and the collapsed bridge.
2. Look for a path that leads behind the waterfall. You'll need to climb some ledges to reach it.
3. Once behind the waterfall, navigate through the small cave system.
4. The Treasure Map will be on a small ledge or within a hidden alcove near the back of this cave.

Shantytown Treasure Map

Shantytown is notorious for its verticality and hidden paths. This map requires some climbing.

1. Locate the large, central tower-like structure in Shantytown, often used for zip-lining.
2. Climb to the very top of this structure. You'll need to use a combination of climbing walls, ledges, and possibly a zip-line to reach the summit.
3. At the highest point, the Treasure Map will be resting on a wooden platform, offering a panoramic view of the area.
