Discover the secrets of the Happy Hearth Inn in The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap! Learn about room prices, Kinstone fusions, and how to progress your quest.
Alright, so you've made it to the Happy Hearth Inn, and guess what? It's finally open for business! It's a bit pricey, but there are some neat little perks if you decide to stay a night.
When you walk in, you'll see there are three room options: a 50 Rupee room, a 200 Rupee room, and a hefty 400 Rupee room. Each one hooks you up with a different colored Kinstone: Green for the cheapest, Blue for the middle, and Red for the most expensive. Honestly, I wouldn't stress too much about the rooms themselves, but the Kinstones are worth considering!
While you're in the lobby, keep an eye out for a guy named Bindle who walks around. You can do a Shared Fusion with him, but he's a bit of a wanderer, so you might have to duck out and come back a few times to catch him at the right moment.
Don't forget to head upstairs! Once you're up there, go into the top room. Inside, check the bottom right pot – it's got an R3 Kinstone that Percy was talking about. Plus, the folks hanging out in this room are also up for a Kinstone fusion, so chat them up!
Now, let's get back to the main quest. Head over to the shoe shop. You'll find the shoemaker has dozed off and his shoes have gone flying. You'll need to use your Minish form and a nearby pot to get up to where they are. Once you're up there, chat with the three Minish. They'll tell you that you need to grab some Red Potion from Syrup the witch to wake up Rem, the shoemaker. So, your next stop is the Minish Woods!
Before you head into the woods, you'll need to make your way to Lon Lon Ranch. You can't get into the woods from the Eastern Hills area.
Lon Lon Ranch
Back at Lon Lon Ranch, Talon's returned, and thankfully, Malon isn't blocking the Minish entrance anymore. However, their key is missing, which is holding up your progress towards Lake Hylia. To get through, you'll need to shrink down and enter the ranch as a Minish. Once you're inside, grow back to normal size and start smashing those pots. When you finally find the key, head back outside and give it to Talon. He'll then give you permission to use this path whenever you need to. After that, make your way to the other side of the house.
On this side of the house, you've got a few options:
