Don't miss out on the Gregal and the Ghost quest in The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap! This guide ensures you complete this highly recommended, missable side quest.

This is a pretty neat side quest that you can easily miss if you're not careful. It involves helping out a ghost, and it's definitely worth your time!

The Setup

First off, you'll need to have the Mirror Shield. If you don't have it yet, you'll need to progress through the main story until you acquire it. Once you have it, head to the Hyrule Castle Town area.

Finding the Ghost

Make your way to the Royal Chamber in Hyrule Castle. Inside, you'll find a ghost named Gregal. He's a bit sad because he lost something important.

Gregal's Request

Gregal will tell you that he lost his Tears of the Wind. He's too weak to find them himself, and he'll ask for your help. This is where you come in!

The Search

You'll need to shrink down to Minish size to search for the Tears. Head to the Royal Courtyard (the area just outside the castle where the guards usually are). Look for a small, hidden passage that you can only enter as a Minish.

Inside this secret area, you'll find a series of puzzles and enemies. Navigate through them carefully. The Tears of the Wind are hidden within this area. Keep an eye out for any suspicious-looking spots or breakable walls.

Returning the Tears

Once you find the Tears of the Wind, return to Gregal in the Royal Chamber. Give them back to him, and he'll be eternally grateful.

The Reward

As a reward for your help, Gregal will give you a Ghost Medal. This is a valuable item that contributes to completing your Medal Collection. Make sure to keep it safe!

Important Note: This quest is missable! If you progress too far in the game without completing it, you might not be able to get the Ghost Medal. So, try to tackle this one as soon as you get the Mirror Shield.
