Walkthrough
- 1Upon entering, defeat the Deku Babas. Climb the first ladder to the right, cross gaps, and open the first chest to obtain the Dungeon Map.
- 2Destroy the crate next to the chest to reveal Gold Skulltula #1. Climb the vines behind the chest and head counterclockwise. Step on the yellow switch to light a torch and burn cobwebs, opening the path forward. Proceed through the door.
- 3Equip a Deku Stick, light it on fire with the nearby torch, and store it. Hop down to the lower level and light the torch here to spawn a small chest. Defeat all enemies to spawn a large chest and reopen the entrance. Climb back to the entrance ledge, step on the switch to raise platforms, and hop across them. The small chest contains a Blue Rupee, and the large chest contains the Fairy Slingshot.
- 4Exit and drop back down to the dungeon map chest area. Light a Deku Stick with the nearby torch and hop across the gap to burn the cobwebs by the door. Inside, defeat the two Gohma eggs, then stun the large Deku Baba with the slingshot and defeat it. Aim the slingshot at the eye above the door to open the path forward.
- 5From the room's start, deal with Gohma eggs and Skulltulas with the slingshot. Hop across the gap and open the chest for the Compass. Note that a Golden Skulltula is hidden by rocks but requires later equipment. Shoot the ladder above the entrance to drop it down, allowing you to return.
- 6Drop to the ground floor, light a Deku Stick with the nearby torch, and crouch to set fire to the web, dropping you into the basement. Climb the floor to the left, step on the switch to light the torch on the opposite side. Head there, use the torch to clear cobwebs by the switch, revealing a chest with a Blue Rupee. Shoot the eye above the doorway to open the next room.
- 7Inside, use your shield to deflect Mad Scrub bullets at Gohma eggs to defeat them. Then, target the Mad Scrub with your slingshot to defeat him. Deal with the Gohma egg on the ceiling to open the door back to the previous room. Return, light a Deku Stick, and re-enter this room. Light the two torches here to open the door to the next room.
- 8Open the chest next to the door for a recovery heart. Kill the Gohma egg on the ceiling. Step on the switch to light the torch, then light a Deku Stick and hop onto the moving platform. Crouch under the spiky pole, hop off at the end, and light the two torches to open the gate. Defeat the Skulltula, climb the ledge with the door.
- 9Defeat the four Gohma eggs and Mad Scrub, then deal with enemies on the ceiling using your slingshot. In the next room, beware of Keese by the braziers as you step on the switch to light torches. Ignore the room to the top-right for now. Light a Deku Stick and burn the cobwebs to the left. Enter the crouch hole, beware of the Scrub Salesman. Kill the Big Deku Baba, then push the nearby block down towards the water for easier access back up. Drop to the lower level, light a Deku Stick, use the block to climb back up, and set fire to the cobweb for access to the lowest level.
- 10Fall into the water, swim to dry land, and kill the Scrubs in the order of first, third, and then second. Talk to one of them to learn the secret of Queen Gohma, which opens the path to the boss room. Enter.
Boss Battle - Queen Gohma
As the battle begins, toss a Deku Nut at Gohma to stun her. Equip your Deku Stick and perform a jump attack. When she climbs to the ceiling, use your slingshot to attack her eye quickly before she can spawn eggs. If she is on the ground, she will attempt to crush you. Spam jump attacks with the Deku Stick or sword to defeat her quickly.
Collect Heart Container #1 and exit through the blue light.
