Master Death Mountain in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Guide yourself through Goron City, Dodongo's Cavern, and find hidden secrets like Pieces of Heart.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Head up the path past the guard to encounter Tektites.
  2. 2
Continue to Goron City, a four-floor area. Make your way to the bottom floor.
  3. 3
Play Zelda's Lullaby for the Goron chief to get his attention.
  4. 4
Play Saria's Song for the chief to make him friendly. He will give you the Goron Bracelet, allowing you to pick up Bomb Flowers.
  5. 5
Use torches in the chief's room to light a Deku Stick, then use it to light the four torches around the pot in the atrium.
  6. 6
Head to the second floor, grab a Bomb Flower, and toss it into the spinning pot to get Piece of Heart #8.
  7. 7
On the second floor, use Bomb Flowers to blast open a shortcut to the Lost Woods.
  8. 8
Exit Goron City and toss a Bomb Flower at the rocks blocking the cave entrance to open the path to Dodongo's Cavern.
  9. 9
(Optional Early Access) Position yourself between a Bomb Flower and a shorter fence, grab the respawning Bomb Flower, and toss it forward. Face the Goron, L-Target, move back, and backflip to get Piece of Heart #9 early.
  10. 10
    Enter Dodongo's Cavern.
  11. 11
Lay a Bomb Flower next to the rock wall to open the path to the central chamber.
  12. 12
Cross the lava moat to the central platform, ignoring the Beamos for now.
  13. 13
Go to the west ledge, grab a Bomb Flower, and drop it next to the cracked rock to open a path. Open the chest for the Dungeon Map. A Business Scrub here sells Deku Shields.
  14. 14
Cross to the east ledge. Grab a Bomb Flower and blow up the southeastern wall.
  15. 15
In the corridor, lure a Baby Dodongo to the cracked rock in the middle and defeat it there to blow up the wall.
  16. 16
Proceed through the door to find a room with Keese and Gold Skulltula #15.
  17. 17
Go to the eastern side of the long corridor. Push an Armos statue onto the blue pressure switch.
  18. 18
Grab the ledge and proceed through the door.
  19. 19
In the next hallway, mind the Keese and proceed to the other door.
  20. 20
Face Lizalfos enemies one by one, using L-Targeting, and attack after they strike.
  21. 21
Defeating the Lizalfos unlocks the next room.
  22. 22
In the next room, a Business Scrub sells Deku Sticks for 15 Rupees.
  23. 23
Return to the previous room. Light a Deku Stick with a torch and run through the room, lighting the torches near the pillars to unlock the door at the end.
  24. 24
Go through the unlocked door to a high ledge in the central chamber. Step on the switch.
  25. 25
Drop down and use the newly opened door in the northwest.
  26. 26
Blow up the southern wall and enter the door.
  27. 27
Toss a Bomb Flower at the group of Armos statues; the first one will activate. Defeat it with bombs and open the chest for the Compass.
  28. 28
Return to the previous room, grab a Bomb Flower, and place it in the middle of the chain of Bombs to lower a stair-like structure.
  29. 29
Climb onto the second floor and loop around to the south side.
  30. 30
Kill the normal Skulltula and Gold Skulltula #16 on the vine wall and climb it to claim the token.
  31. 31
Go through the door. Clear the room of Fire Keese using your Slingshot.
  32. 32
Push the Armos Statue near the central platform's ladder to access the ladder and step on the switch.
  33. 33
Continue through the newly unlocked door.
  34. 34
Cross the skywalk to the eastern side and drop down the ledge in the new room.
  35. 35
Be wary of the Bladetraps patrolling the narrow areas.
