Yormgen

Navigate Yormgen with this walkthrough for Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition. Find items, complete side quests like Wonder Chef Part 9, and progress the story.

Alright, after all those scenes wrap up, you'll find yourself in Yormgen. Let's get you sorted!

First things first, there are a couple of side quests to grab here. Check next to your bed to find the Wonder Chef. He's got a new recipe for you: Croquette. Make sure you learn it!

Once you've got the Croquette recipe, you'll need to have Judith cook it. Keep cooking that Croquette recipe until she teaches you the recipe for Tempura. It's a bit of a cooking chain, but you'll get there.

Before you leave the inn, poke around the area in front of Rita's bed. You can find an Hourglass and an All Divide there. Grab 'em!

Now, head out of the Inn. A scene will trigger, and you'll receive Phaeroh's Feather. Right next to the Inn, there's a chest with a Limit Bottle inside. Don't miss it!

Follow the path heading north, and then take a right onto the dock. There's a chest waiting for you with a Simple Tent. After that, find the woman wearing a green outfit and talk to her for another scene. She'll give you the Clear Ciel Crystal.

Head all the way north and enter the building called the Sage's Residence. You'll have a scene there. Once it's over, go back into the Sage's Residence for yet another scene. After that, check the left side of the room – you'll find a Strange Mark. Now, chat with your party members who are around, and then head back into the Inn to speak with Patty.

Once you've spoken with everyone and tied up loose ends, you can rest at the Inn. After resting, make your way south towards the town's exit. A scene will play out, and then you'll be leaving Yormgen.

When you eventually find yourself back in Mantaic and reach Kogorh, you'll get a prompt about the desert. Select to stay on the field to skip going through it again. Trust me, you don't want to trek through that desert twice!
