Continue your Super Smash Bros. Brawl adventure with Part 61 of our guide, covering The Ruins and The Wilds levels. Master new challenges and uncover secrets!

Alright, let's dive into Part 61 of our Super Smash Bros. Brawl guide! We're tackling two more stages: The Ruins and The Wilds. Get ready for some more platforming, enemy encounters, and a boss fight!

Level 14: The Ruins

For this level, you'll have Lucas and Pokemon Trainer (starting with Squirtle, Ivysaur joins later). Honestly, your choice here doesn't matter too much since you'll likely be using both before it's over. Just follow the path until you hit an area with moving ceilings and floors. Take your time here, and be sure to snag the trophy from the ledge next to the Jyk. Keep going until you find a blue box with a Stock Ball. Jump onto the platform to its right; it'll take you through a circular area where the Roturret and Floow will try to mess with you. Stick low and fight off the Floow until you can get off on the right. Drop down the shaft, and hit the switch on the right – this opens a door above you. Be careful, the other two switches only lead to trouble, so leave them alone.

Next up is an auto-scrolling section. Keep an eye out for a yellow box on top of the second set of breakable blocks. It's easy to miss, so make sure you break through those blocks near the top to grab it. Even if you take a hit, it's worth it! As you go down the shaft with spikes, look for the first door you see – it's a side area. Grab the two blue boxes inside for some stickers and a Heart Container, then head back out. Drop down, and go right. You'll see a scene where you acquire Ivysaur. If you're playing as Pokemon Trainer, you'll automatically switch, but you won't get to pick your Pokémon again or refresh your stock.

Continue right through more straightforward paths and switch hitting. Just hit all the switches and keep moving right until you encounter a Roturret. Take it out, then hit the *right* switch to reveal a door. Hitting the wrong switch here can make the door impossible to find, so don't mess around! Inside, you'll find a Heart Container, a yellow box, and a blue box with stickers. Grab everything, then backtrack. You'll then run right along a linear path to another door.

Part 2:

You'll get your stock refreshed, but you can't change characters. Your task is to beat Charizard in a 1v1 with four stocks. Honestly, this is a pretty easy fight. Once that's done, the level ends, and Pokemon Trainer will have all three of his Pokémon!

Level 15: The Wilds (left)

For this level, you can choose between Marth, Meta Knight, and Ike. Marth is a great all-rounder, Meta Knight is solid, and Ike hits like a truck, though he's a bit slower. The first part is a straight fight through a linear path until you exit a cave. Climb the ledges to your left to find a door. Inside, you'll find a yellow and a blue box with stickers. Head back out and continue right through more linear combat. You'll find an obvious yellow box on the way. After fighting enemies, dodging mines, and dealing with wind, you'll find a door. Keep an eye out for your first Armank – to beat it, attack the green ball in its center. When its claw comes out, attack it to make it reveal the green ball again.

The path stays linear for a bit, with nothing too new. Eventually, you'll reach some barrel cannons. If you didn't notice, the level design has been getting a bit simpler. Anyway, in the barrel cannons, you can go for a green box with a Heart Container by heading left and down. Or, if you're Meta Knight, you can usually just fly up there with your jumps and specials. Enter the door. Inside, there's a yellow box that looks like it requires a circular path. Ike and Meta Knight can just jump up there with their specials, but Marth will need to take the long way around. Exit the way you came, and hug the right wall to avoid the barrel cannons. If you miss the timing, just use the lower or right cannons to keep going. Enter the door, then the next one immediately, and get ready for a boss fight.

Part 2:

Again, Marth, Meta Knight, or Ike. Ike's raw power is really useful here. Marth and Meta Knight should stick close to Galleom's feet and use their aerial attacks. Ike should use Aether and his aerials. Anything they do will rack up serious damage. If you want to know how to beat Galleom...
