Wolf's Moveset Breakdown

Wolf's neutral aerial is a quick safety move that doubles as a solid damage dealer, useful for turning the tides when being chased in the air. His forward and up aerials send opponents straight up fairly weakly, good for juggling, with the forward aerial gaining KO power at over 150%. His back aerial is a quick move he should use frequently, allowing for short hop aerial attacks and quick landings. The down aerial is a slow spike, useful for edge guarding over pits.

Wolf's forward smash has good power and throws him forward, ideal for punishing foes. His up smash is a stronger version of his up tilt, slower but with more damage and knockback, useful for popping up vulnerable opponents. His down smash is a quick, powerful move good for hitting rolling opponents or anyone nearby. Wolf's running attack stops him and pops opponents up, allowing for follow-up aerial attacks.

Regarding throws, Wolf's up throw sends opponents straight up, setting up his juggling game. His down throw pushes opponents into the ground, exploitable near ledges for dangerous positioning, and can potentially lead to a semi-chain throw with a running grab. Wolf also has a quick attack against grabbed opponents for extra damage. His up smash is a solid out-of-shield option to continue his juggle game.

Wolf's specials are similar to Fox and Falco's. Wolf Flash is his main recovery tool, with an upward angle and a spike, cancelable with B from the ground. Fire Wolf is faster, has good distance, and a quick bounce, making it a solid recovery option over Wolf Flash. His Reflector has a bigger hit area than Fox's, does not knock foes downward, and does not stall him in the air, useful for quick damage.

Wolf's Blaster has limited range and does more damage up close, used to control space and force approaches, unlike Falco's which is more for stalling. He uses it to move in and punish mistakes.

Wolf can wall jump but not wall cling or crawl. He has one midair jump, an average roll, and a very quick spot dodge he should abuse.

Matchup Notes for Wolf

Wolf generally matches well against ranged foes like Marth due to his lunging attacks and projectile stuns. However, his greater attack commitment can cause trouble against quick attackers like Fox, Meta Knight, and Sonic.

Captain Falcon's Strengths and Weaknesses

Captain Falcon is described as a very cool and manly character, but he is considered quite bad at standard fights. His super fast movements are canceled by long delays after his attacks, and his motions are too tight for the floaty world of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. He is a very weak character requiring extreme dedication to play decently.

Captain Falcon has useful tilts. His up tilt is a slow, powerful kick that sweeps over his head, good for kills on highly wounded foes. His forward tilt knocks opponents away uninterestingly, while his down tilt pops opponents upward, allowing him to follow up with his knee. His smashes are powerful but standard.
