Saving Your Progress

Learn how to save your game in Super Mario Odyssey. This guide explains the auto-save feature and how to manually save your progress to avoid losing any of your hard-earned Moons and collectibles.

Super Mario Odyssey automatically saves your progress as you play. You'll see a small save icon appear on the screen periodically, indicating that your game is being saved. This means you don't need to manually save after every major accomplishment.

However, if you wish to manually save your progress, you can do so by pressing the '+' button to open the main menu. From there, select the 'Save' option. This will immediately save your current game state, including all collected Power Moons and other progress.
