How to Beat Knucklotec

Learn the best strategies and tips to defeat Knucklotec, a challenging boss in Super Mario Odyssey. Master his attack patterns and emerge victorious!

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weak Point: Glowing eyes on his hands and head.
• Vulnerable to: Cappy throws to stun, followed by direct attacks.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Knucklotec attacks with sweeping arm strikes and ground pounds. Dodge these and throw Cappy at his hands when they are extended to stun him. Attack the stunned hands.
2. Phase 2: Knucklotec adds a spinning attack and a laser beam from his head. Continue dodging and stunning his hands. Once enough damage is dealt, his head will become vulnerable.
3. Phase 3: Knucklotec becomes more aggressive, combining attacks. Focus on dodging and wait for an opening to throw Cappy at his head when he rears back to attack. Attack his head until defeated.

Strategy:

• Always keep moving to avoid his wide-reaching attacks.
• Use the environment for cover if necessary, but don't stay behind it too long.
• When he slams his hands down, they become vulnerable targets for Cappy.
• After stunning his hands multiple times, he will expose his head. This is your primary target in later phases.
• Be patient and wait for clear openings rather than rushing in.

Defeating Knucklotec rewards you with a Multi Moon and allows you to progress in the game.
