    The Pseudo Giant: After the tunnel, you'll run into a Pseudo Giant. These guys are tough. They waddle around and have a nasty melee attack, plus they can slam the ground to create a chemical explosion. It takes a good five assault rifle clips to bring one down, so be prepared for a bullet sponge.

    Guarded Prize: Keep pushing forward. The tank itself is guarded by several more Snorks. Clear them out quickly.

    Grab the Gun: Once the area is clear, climb onto the tank and grab the machine gun.

    Return Trip: Now for the hard part – getting that heavy gun back. Head back to the stalker who gave you the mission.
Tips
  • Dealing with the Pseudo Giant: If you're having a really tough time with the Pseudo Giant, there's a trick. There's a big rock near the camp where you encounter it. You can climb onto this rock, and the mutant often can't reach you. From there, you can safely shoot it to death at your leisure.
  • Weight Management: If you're struggling with the 33.5 KG weight of the machine gun, consider dropping some less essential gear before you pick it up, or maybe you have a buddy who can help carry it if you're playing with others.
  • Camp Defense: If the camp you need to return to is under attack, you might have to fight off whatever is assaulting it. If the mission giver dies, you might not be able to complete the mission, so be aware of that possibility.
