Glossary:

• Banked Curve: In RollerCoaster Tycoon, banked curves reduce lateral G-forces in turns. Without them, the full force of lateral Gs is felt, increasing intensity and nausea ratings, and potentially decreasing excitement.
• Banked Helix/Helix: A banked helix is a spiral curve, either upward or downward, banked to reduce lateral and vertical Gs while affecting height. The helix in the Suspended roller coaster lacks banking but follows similar principles.
• Corkscrew: A special track piece for roller coasters that flips the train 360 degrees vertically. Can be used with a half loop or in-line twist.
• Half Loop: A special track piece for roller coasters that flips the train 180 degrees vertically. Can be used with corkscrews or in-line twists.
• In Line Twist: A special track piece for roller coasters that flips the train 360 degrees vertically by twisting in a full circle, left or right. Can be used with half loops and corkscrews.
• On-Ride Photo: A special track piece for roller coasters that takes a photo of passengers, available for purchase after the ride. Placing these at exciting points can generate additional income.
• Rapids: A special track piece for the River Rapids ride that simulates river rapids. It decreases speed decay on straight sections and increases ride excitement.
