Conquer the challenging Iceberg Islands scenario in RollerCoaster Tycoon's Loopy Landscapes expansion. Learn strategies for guest growth, ride building, and advertising.
Alright, welcome to Part 32! This one's a bit of a doozy, but don't worry, we'll get through it together. You've got a massive space, a complex layout, and a ton of scenery to play with, plus a generous four years to hit your goal: 2,000 guests. That's a big number, so we'll need to pull out all the stops!
Beyond just building awesome rides, we need to think smart about advertising. Don't blow all your cash on ads right away – your revenue won't keep up. Instead, focus on building a solid park for the first couple of years. Once your income and guest count start to steady out, that's when we go full-throttle on advertising. This will cause your guest count to skyrocket and the money to pour in, letting us build even more and better rides. Keep this cycle going, and you might even hit 3,000 guests!
This scenario is rated 6/10 difficulty. It might seem a bit overwhelming at first with the size and the goal, but with the right strategy and plenty of advertising, it'll feel like a walk in the park.
Once you nail this one, you'll have completed the Corkscrew Follies expansion! Ready to tackle Loopy Landscapes next?
C. Roller Coaster Tycoon: Loopy Landscapes
This is the second and final expansion for the original RollerCoaster Tycoon, and it's a real gem in the Tycoon series. It adds 30 new scenarios, and the goals and locations are what make it such a blast. With more scenery, rides, and upgrades, your park-building potential just got a whole lot bigger.
Important Note: In Loopy Landscapes, the ability to charge park admission has been turned off by the developers. There's no known way to enable it, so don't email asking about it! Think of it as an extra challenge to overcome – you'll have to rely solely on your rides for income.

Welcome to Loopy Landscapes! If you've made it this far, you're a true fan. And to reward that dedication, the first scenario is set on icebergs! How cool is that? It definitely brings some unique challenges.
First off, you'll notice you have very limited land. The biggest iceberg is already pretty developed, so you'll need to use the other icebergs for most of your flat rides. You can even build some rides directly on the water, though this will increase costs for both the rides and paths. Just don't go overboard with it, and you'll be fine.
For coaster building, feel free to use the icebergs as station platforms or, my personal favorite, for underground sections and loops. If you decide to go underground, remember that the land under the water is set to the lowest level, making underground expansion beyond the icebergs quite expensive.
Now, about hitting that goal. I've found that just building rides won't generate enough income on its own. You'll need to start with some advertising. Don't go all-out until you have some serious income, but...
