You'll spend your days scavenging resources from passing debris, expanding your raft, researching new technologies, and fending off hungry sharks. It's a unique blend of chill crafting and tense survival, perfect for anyone who loves building and exploring.
This guide is here to help you master every aspect of your aquatic adventure. We'll cover everything from basic survival needs and efficient resource gathering to advanced raft construction and navigating the game's various story islands and challenging boss encounters. Whether you're aiming to complete the main story, find all the collectibles, or simply build the most impressive raft the ocean has ever seen, we've got you covered.
First Steps: Survival Basics
Raft survival basics: Use your Plastic Hook to gather Wood, Plastic, and Barrels from floating debris. Craft a Basic Purifier for water and manage your hunger.
Upon spawning, you'll find yourself on a small 2x2 raft with a Plastic Hook. Your immediate priorities are Water and Food. Look around for floating debris: Wood, Plastic, Leaves, and Barrels. Use your Plastic Hook (left-click) to grab these items. Barrels are particularly valuable as they often contain multiple resources. Don't let anything float by! You'll also need to craft a Basic Purifier and a Simple Grill as soon as possible. The Purifier requires 6 Plastic and 4 Planks, while the Grill needs 4 Plastic and 3 Planks. Place them on your raft and start collecting water and cooking fish. Remember, thirst and hunger meters deplete quickly, so always keep an eye on them.

Navigating the Floating Town
Navigate Raft's Caravan Town by using its code 6134. Beware of Lurkers and exploding Pufferfish while seeking the Blueprint: Advanced Bow.
After inputting the Caravan Town code (6134) into your Receiver, sail towards the floating town. Caravan Town is a complex, multi-layered structure made of interconnected containers. Dock your raft carefully. The town is populated by Lurkers and the explosive Pufferfish. Pufferfish will inflate and explode upon death or if you get too close, dealing significant damage. Use a Bow or other ranged weapon to deal with them from a distance. You'll need to utilize ziplines, ladders, and jump puzzles to navigate the town's verticality. Look for the Blueprint: Advanced Bow in one of the higher containers, often near a shooting range or weapon stash. The Blueprint: Water Pipe and Blueprint: Sprinkler are typically found in areas related to farming or water management.
